Celebrating 21 years in family ownership, we are the UK's leading independent. Arena holds key contracts with all of the UK's mainstream broadcasters, each of whom rely on companies like Arena to provide multi-camera coverage of sporting events, music festivals and large studio based shows.

Arena has a unique 20 strong fleet of outside broadcast trucks, which sets us apart from other operators in Europe. Our units are not built for individual contracts and are therefore more flexible. They all employ the same overall design philosophy. Once you have worked in one of them, you will feel at home in all of them. Recognizing the growing importance of data movement within an 'OB' we are the only UK operator to specialize in slow-motion & networked non-linear editing systems (e.g. Avid/EVS/FCP). We have created a fleet of 6 unrivalled VT trucks (e.g. VT7). The latest addition to our main fleet was OB14 which entered service in early 2011. Arena also continues to welcome more of the industry's top staff, to ensure our stringent quality thresholds are maintained as we continue to grow.

Notable contracts include the Champions League (home & away), England Matches (home & away) for ITV Sport, all of Sky Sports Boxing, plus the Aviva Rugby Premiership for ESPN. Key BBC work includes the Royal Wedding, Springwatch and the Glastonbury Music Festival.

Ant and Dec

We are linked with numerous other well known events including Ant & Dec's Push the Button for ITV; BBC Children in Need Rocks the Albert Hall, BBC Springwatch, Channel 4 Crufts, Sky Sports Darts, Football on Five and the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

Newscopters & Aerial Filming

Our sister company Arena Aviation owns and operates a fleet of six helicopters, including several dedicated television news aircraft. The company also undertakes numerous aerial filming projects and is well known for its work on programmes like BBC's "The Apprentice". Aviation website.

CO2 Neutral In another industry leading move, we have become CO2 neutral by joining a scheme called targetneutral.
