Arena and targetneutral

The Arena Group is pleased to announce that it is the first company to be CO2 emission neutral in its sector.

We have pledged our support to target neutral - the UK's first mainstream scheme to neutralise CO2 emissions from transport.

Arena supplied comprehensive data to the targetneutral team, covering fuel usage estimates for all its vehicles and aircraft. With this 12 month forecast, target neutral was able to inform Arena how many tonnes of CO2 it will produce.

After payment of a calculated donation targetneutral can ensure an equivalent reduction in CO2 emissions. This is done by investing the money in schemes, that reduce CO2 through the use of natural resources and bio-mass systems. The actual cost was lower than initially expected, allowing Arena to give an additional sum to allow for any miscellaneous CO2 production through the use of electricity and other services.
